This year, DigiBC  invited us to show our work at Web Summit 2025. To bring some levity into the conference, my threesome team created an exhibit presenting BC's nature and wildlife perfect for their 270 degree tri-screen setup.
Web Summit was host to over 15,000 attendees, including tech leaders, investors, startups, and media from over 130 countries. My vision was to showcase British Columbia in all of its natural glory through my artwork: a collection of 13 hand-painted VR animal displays brought to life with animations created using artificial intelligence.
With the global pandemic further behind us, we’ve seen a growing shift from solitary experiences like VR to shared, public interactions that reconnect us with the people, music, and brand-driven moments we love. Embracing this trend, we created an immersive experience for Web Summit that combined playfulness and meditation, evoking a sense of joy for every visitor. Our display celebrated the spirit of British Columbia with a sense of whimsy and delight.

Here is the video on-screen on the 270 setup. Special thanks to Davis and Nik from DigiBC who made this happen, to Debi Wong and Loc Doa for your vision and generosity and especially to Dr. Ted Gervan for sharing his very special acting skills and bringing that sense of play to our exhibit. We are grateful to be here!
