Both discussions took place at two different seminars. I brought the students into different tours while offering a workshop style delivery for the Berklee class (Prof. Yao Wang) and a podcast video tour for my friend Dr. Erin Reilly.
Highlights:
1. How to think of a bespoke world through a storytelling lens of context (details - what you see) versus subtext (What is the intent of the experience)
2. How to use the power of scale and color to make the experience epic - moving from A to A+ (Lessons on environmental building)
3. Why music and sound is the bridge to emotional storytelling - and how AI can help or hinder.
I've always dreamt of going to Berklee but of course, my music prowess was fairly limited so when my friend Yao invited me to speak, I felt so honored. I had as much fun as the students did and it was a really interesting Q and A session. Here is what some of them said from the Berklee School of Music talk - (I'm adding them all because one day, I'll be looking up to them!) :)
